Attorney David A. Brener has been a member of the Florida Bar for twenty three (23) years. In that time, he has devoted his practice almost entirely to criminal defense. He is the current Chairperson of the Criminal Law Practice Section of the Lee County Bar, and he is the immediate past President and a founding member of the Lee County Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is a member of the Federal Trial Bar for the Southern District of Florida, a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Brener is on the Registry for Capital Death Penalty cases, and has handled more than a dozen such cases.
Mr. Brener has tried to a jury almost every type of criminal case, from arson to first degree murder, and from major drug trafficking cases to trespass. Mr. Brener has practiced law in Miami Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Charlotte, Collier, and Lee Counties, and has tried cases throughout much of the state. He has tried serious felony cases in both state and federal court.
David Brener has over twenty (20) years of criminal trial experience. He has handled literally thousands of felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases, and has the experience and zeal to ensure that the Client’s interests are protected, and the goal of achieving a favorable result for the client.
Attorney Thomas E. DeMine is a former Assistant State Attorney, in the Twentieth Judicial Circuit of Florida. He represented the State of Florida, in felony and misdemeanor cases in Fort Myers. Mr. DeMine has had numerous jury trials before the circuit and county judges and has insight into the thinking and mindset of the prosecutor’s office, having prosecuted for the very people that are prosecuting you. Mr. DeMine handles a wide range of felony and misdemeanor cases. He attended Stetson College of Law and is originally from South Carolina.
